To fully understand the profession, it is important to understand what these terms mean and the ways they are used to identify teaching to ELLs. Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) is a popular term (and the name of a professional association) that often serves as a general title for the field of teaching that includes TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). TESL is the term most often used for teaching English to speakers of other languages in the U. S., while TEFL refers to teaching English programs in countries where English is not the primary language. While teacher of ELLs in U. public schools must possess a teaching license and ESL credentials awarded through their state department of education, educators who teach ESL in private language schools throughout the world must generally possess a bachelor's degree or higher, fluency in another language, and some type of certificate in TESL or TEFL. We plan to stay back only for a year or less, based on our jobs and PR status. Do we have to sign a commitment / contract period for places i. e. a lock-in period? Or can we negotiate a place for 6 months and then extend or end the contract as per our status then? Any contacts of good real estate agents (RERA matters, yea? ) or places in-the-know that we can look at starting next week and occupy within maybe 15 days or a month? What are the expected DEWA, Gas costs, if we cook 8-9 times a week, stay out of home from 7. 30am-8. 30pm for 5 days a week, and have need of only laptops, washing machine, ironing, and minor gadgets in electronics. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 1400/month? Does chiller free make a major difference? Any other advice that can be helpful in looking at places or setting our budget would be great! We have made a temporary arrangement to stay with a friend in Karama, however we wish to move out and have a place of our own as soon as possible. Any help is appreciated (albeit with only upvotes as of now if not gold)
Go see it while you can! It's scheduled to be there through March 28th. The other galleries are impressive as well. At the time I took these photos, one featured the much larger-than-life drawings by Gerry Wubben. You've got to see these in person to really appreciate his masterful ability to create such lifelike detail at such a grand scale. Another of the galleries features varying works by several local and regional artists. There's lots of local talent on display. And don't miss the gallery featuring our local high school students for Youth Art Month. The facility also features several workshops and classrooms.
